dataX has finalised the first phase of our Mobile sync platform. The basic service is powered by the Funambol Open source project, but as a software development company,we have enhanced the product to integrate into existing infrastructure. The basic services integrates with the most commonly used email clients and mail server software, but with some customized application development , the functionality can be made available to nearly any database containing client information. Currently we provide the following services:

• Push email
  We can now provide push email functionality for any kind of cellphone. Smart as well as standard phones will be able to provide basic email functionality while advanced email capabilities such as attachments, will be available to smartphones. This open source-based push email solution provides the broadest device compatibility and can not only be used by individuals, but employing some customized software development, we can create custom connectors to be used to integrate it into your existing infrastructure.
• Mobile Cloud Sync
  Mobile phone applications and services are quickly becoming a major part of the Mobile Cloud, making it possible to sync your contacts, calender and tasks directly between your phone and your email application (Outlook, Thunderbird etc.) from anywhere, at anytime, no cable required.
  

For the sync software to work, all you require is a data connection on your mobile device (laptop/cellphone), the funambol client software on your mobile device and an account on our sync server.
